Ready to train again without guessing.
If you are coming back after time away, finishing rehabilitation guidance, or rebuilding confidence, Dakota builds progressive strength and movement coaching around your current ability and the activity you want to return to.
Who this is for
Coming back after time away
You want a plan that respects current ability instead of jumping back into old volume.
Post-rehab bridge
You have completed rehabilitation or received appropriate medical guidance and want progressive training, not clinical care.
Activity-specific goals
Climbing, hiking, sport, work capacity, or daily life that still needs a body you can trust.
Dakota does not diagnose injuries, treat medical conditions, or replace a physician or physical therapist. Medical clearance may be requested when appropriate.
How it works
Talk
Discuss goals, logistics, and fit.
Assess
A two-hour appointment to understand history, current ability, and priorities.
Build
Organize findings into a Coaching Map and recommended structure.
Adapt
Evolve the plan through coaching, independent work where included, and feedback.
"Working with Dakota has been impactful for my strength goals. He refined exercises around injuries and pain points, and his method helped my body move as an integrated unit instead of isolated parts."

Common questions
Do I need to be in shape already?
No. Coaching begins from your current ability, history, goals, and readiness.
Can coaching work around previous injuries or sensitivities?
Exercises can often be modified around known limitations when training is appropriate. Dakota does not diagnose or replace medical care, and clearance may be requested when needed.
Where does coaching take place?
Dakota is based in Black Mountain and serves the greater Asheville area. Exact locations depend on the service and current facility arrangements.
Start with a conversation, not a commitment.
Share what you want to return to or prepare for. Dakota will help determine whether the service is an appropriate fit.
